Every business owner we've sat down with already knows where the bleeding is. They've known for years. The Friday timesheets. The missed calls. The four-hour invoice run that's been “temporary” since 2019. You don't need a consultant to find what's broken. You need someone in the room who can tell you which of it AI actually fixes — and which of it is a process problem that no software will solve.
That's what a Strategy Day is. One day. Your team. Our brain. A written plan a week later.
The Map
What we do in the morning.
We arrive at 9. We bring coffee or you bring coffee, doesn't matter. The first hour is a walkthrough — your office, your floor, your screens, your actual tools. The version of your business in your head and the version on the floor are usually a little different.
Then we sit down with your 4 people and trace three journeys: how a customer enters your business, how an employee gets their work done, and how money moves through the system. By noon, every friction point is on one sheet of paper. You will recognize all of it. You will also recognize some patterns you never quite saw together before.
You don't need someone to tell you what's broken. You need someone to tell you which broken thing AI can fix this quarter — and which one is a process problem no software will save.
The Sort
What we do over lunch.
While you and your team grab food, the consultant does the actual work. The morning's findings get sorted into three buckets: AI fixes this today. AI helps this next quarter. This is a process problem AI won't solve — and pretending it will would waste your money.
The last bucket matters as much as the first. We turn away problems that aren't AI-shaped — that's why our clients trust us with the ones that are.
The Plan
What happens after lunch.
We come back to the table at 2 PM and walk through 3 to 5 concrete AI opportunities. For each one: what specific problem it solves, how it would work, what it costs to build, how long to deploy. No theory. Real Canadian-dollar estimates. Then we rank them by impact and effort. You pick which ones to act on first. The day ends with your top three written on the whiteboard.
9:00 AM
Walkthrough
Tour the office, see the actual screens and tools your team uses every day. Calibrate the headspace model with the real floor.
10:30 AM
The bottleneck audit
Customer journey, employee journey, money journey. Every friction point mapped on one sheet.
12:30 PM
Lunch + sort
Your team eats. The consultant sorts the morning's findings into the three buckets: today, next quarter, and 'AI won't fix this'.
2:00 PM
Opportunity walkthrough
3 to 5 specific AI opportunities, each with problem, solution, cost, and timeline. Concrete numbers.
4:00 PM
Rank and decide
Sort by impact/effort. You pick the top three. Done by 5.

Who Books This
The kinds of businesses we work with.
We've run Strategy Days for accountants, trades contractors, clinic owners, real-estate brokerages, manufacturers, family-run insurance shops, and ops leads at fast-growing SaaS companies. Different industries — but the people who get the most value share a profile.

Trades
The contractor running 3+ trucks.
Your office manager is losing hours every week to scheduling, receipts, and invoicing. We find which of it AI can take off her plate this quarter.

Professional Services
The 15–60 person firm.
Intake, document review, draft email — 30% of your team's week. We map exactly where AI buys that time back without compromising privilege or accuracy.

Healthcare
The clinic with a phone that won't stop.
Intake, reminders, no-show recovery, referrals. Most of it can be automated PHIPA-safely. We show you which workflows go first.

Operations & Manufacturing
The plant manager rebuilding Monday's report.
If you're rebuilding the same spreadsheet every week, that spreadsheet should build itself. We find the 4-6 reports AI can write for you.

Client-Facing
The realtor or agent doing it all.
Lead follow-up, listing prep, client comms. AI doesn't replace your relationships. It gives you 10 more hours a week to spend on them.

Internal Ops
The HR or ops lead with a frozen wish list.
You've proposed the same five fixes for two years. We turn your gut-feel list into a costed, business-cased roadmap your CFO will actually approve.
This isn't about replacing people. It's about killing the bad business processes your team hates as much as you do.
Honest Filter
When NOT to book a Strategy Day.
Don't book if
- You're "just curious about AI" but don't have a specific operational problem.
- You haven't tried any AI tools yourself yet — start with ChatGPT or Claude for two weeks first.
- You're under 5 people and the problem can still be solved with cheap SaaS.
- You want a sales pitch you can ignore — we're going to put your team to work for 6 hours.
- You're hoping to use AI to lay people off. We don't help with that, on purpose.
Book if
- You have a specific, named, recurring problem costing real money or sleep.
- You've already poked at ChatGPT or Claude and want to know what's next.
- You're a team of 6–200 with real workflows and real human friction.
- You want a day of clarity, not a deck to absorb.
- You want to free your team up — not replace them.
